IS THE SKI PASS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
No, a valid ski pass must be purchased separately.
Dynamic pricing - The sooner, the cheaper!Since the 2021/22 winter season, there has been a new ski pass pricing system for the Sölden + Gurgl ski areas. The prices for the ski passes are no longer fixed, as before, but depend on the season, the purchase date, and demand.
According to the motto “The sooner, the cheaper!”, the new dynamic pricing model offers attractive prices (up to -20%) in advance sales and rewards those who secure the ski passes they want weeks or months in advance in the online ski ticket shop.
Up to 5 days before the 1st day of the ski pass, the ski pass is always cheaper in the online ski ticket shop, after that (from 4 days before) the cash price also applies online. -
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Cancellations can be made free of charge without giving reasons up to 7 days before the start of the course.
Cancellation costs within 48 hours: 90%
Cancellation costs within 24 hours: 100% -
HOW DO I REACH THE MEETING POINT FOR SKI, SNOWBOARD, AND PRIVATE LESSONS?
The meeting point is always in the Giggijoch ski area. Please arrive at the meeting point approx. 15 minutes before the start of the course and allow for any waiting time at the cable car.

IS THE DEPOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
No, the depot is not included, but we have our own depot in our branch at the Giggijoch summit station (only for skis) and a new depot with lockers in our valley station branch at the Giggijoch car park. A locker offers space for the equipment of 2 people.
Our customers receive a 50% discount. -
WHAT DOES THE ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE INCLUDE?
These packages are group ski and snowboard courses including rental equipment (skis, shoes, & poles or snowboard & boots).
Children and teens up to 15 years of age also receive a free rental helmet. -
HOW DO I GET RENTAL EQUIPMENT?
You can get the equipment directly from us since we also have a sports shop.
We are truly a one-stop-shop. SunUp Sports and Yellow Power Ski School are a family.
Valley station branch on Giggijochstr. 10a. Opening hours daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
or the central branch on Dorfstrasse 5. Opening hours daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -
WHAT IS THE LARGEST NUMBER OF PEOPLE FOR GROUP COURSES?
For all adult and children's courses, we have small groups with up to a maximum of 8 people.

AS A COMPLETE BEGINNER, DO I NEED A SKI PASS?
Yes, because the beginners courses take place directly in the Giggijoch ski area.
But there is a beginner's ski pass.
This only makes sense for complete beginners, as only a few lifts can be used with this ski pass and should be purchased on a day-to-day basis after consulting the ski instructor. -
AT WHAT AGE CAN CHILDREN TAKE SKI OR SNOWBOARD LESSONS?
Children's ski courses are possible from 3 years old.
Group snowboard courses are possible from 8 years old. -
HOW ARE GROUPS DIVIDED?
Groups are divided according to predecessors or by an oral question about your ability. We also try to take age and language into account. If you are overwhelmed or under-challenged in your group after being divided, it is possible to change the group at any time.
If you wish, you can switch from a ski course to a snowboard course or vice versa. This is only possible with the appropriate gear and clothing.

CAN I ALSO JOIN A COURSE DURING THE WEEK?
Generally, participants are divided into groups on Sunday and Monday. However, it is also possible to join an existing group during the week. Excluded are beginners (level GREEN) and anyone who cannot yet ride the lift.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR OUR CHILDREN TO BE TOGETHER IN A CLASS?
If your children or friends' children are on approximately the same level, it is possible to be placed in a group together.
Please ask when scheduling. -
WILL I GET A REFUND IF I OR MY CHILDREN DON'T LIKE IT?
A refund is not possible if you are not satisfied.
The price difference between used and unused days can be used for another offer from the ski school. -
WILL I GET A REFUND IF I OR MY CHILDREN ARE INJURED OR SICK?
Yes, upon presentation of a medical certificate you will of course receive a refund for the difference in the amount of the unused course days.

INCORRECT BOOKINGS
Incorrectly selected courses and/or incorrectly time periods cannot be changed or adjusted on site. We assume no liability for incorrectly selected courses and/or incorrectly selected time periods. A refund of the amount already paid is excluded in such cases. It is customer's responsibility to carefully check availability and the desired time period when booking.
